Thanks to it energetic crowds and exciting gameplay, craps is one of the most entertaining games in the casino. It also offers you some of the best odds.
You can look forward to as little as a 1.36% house edge with certain bets. Therefore, craps should give you a great chance of winning, right?
Actually, many players surrender a much bigger edge to the casino. The numbers from Vegas reveal that gamblers are surrendering 16% the house, or $16 out of every $100 wagered.
How is it possible for a game that features such great odds to give so much money to the house? I’ll answer this question by covering optimal craps strategy along with why many players fail to make good decisions and suffer huge losses as a result.
What Do Smart Craps Players Do?
Unlike with blackjack or Texas Holdem, craps strategy isn’t that complicated. You simply need to make the right bets to minimize the casino house edge.
However, many players are clueless on exactly which bets they need to make. Here are the four common wagers to concentrate on when playing craps:
- Past line = 1.41% house edge
- Don’t pass line = 1.36%
- Come = 1.41%
- Don’t come = 1.36%
These bets already look favorable enough in comparison to other propositions throughout the casino. But you can improve your odds even further

Just a quick note as we transition to the beginning of the second round from the end of the first. The last week or so worth of games we’ve seen have come deep into series. Coaches have had time to make adjustments. Weaknesses have been exploited. Saturday’s Game between the Rockets and Thunder was a nice example of that. The Rockets, after three games of Lu Dort killing them on defense, played him off the floor by forcing him to shoot. He went 3 of 16.
Rarely do those extreme strategies come to fruition in Game 1s. Trust what we saw in
In 2020 we’re lucky enough to have the world of football at our fingertips. As a result, it’s never been easier to bet on the sport we love yet most punters still haemorrhage their money away. I’ve been there. Believe me. Don’t fear though because over the years I’ve put plenty of research into beating the system and here I’m going to give you the five best football betting strategies to help turn you a profit.
Before we dive into our top five though, I want to take a few seconds of your time to flag two well known methods to avoid. They are xxx and xxx. Depending on where you look, you might find people labelling them as great strategies to use. We wouldn’t encourage you to walk that path.
Now, let’s get cracking with the five best football betting strategies.
5. Goliath Bets
Are Goliath bets guaranteed to make you money? No but your odds of making a profit are greatly improved.
Traditionally, a Goliath bet is based off eight selections – let’s call it eight teams to win. Usually in this scenario you’d end up with an eight-fold accumulator but by using the Goliath option your bet is broken down into 247 different outcomes. These 247 selections cover every possible combination from doubles up to an eight-fold win. As such, your stake is multiplied so a 10p stake will actually cost you £24.70.
Although that’s a dramatic ramp up of stake, just two selections coming in will see you with some
The FedEx Cup Playoffs are coming to a close in Atlanta, and we’re giving away some TOUR Championship predictions to get you ready for the season finale.
The final event of the season will take place from September 4th to September 7th at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, as it does every year. If the betting public turns out at all like it has the first two weeks of the playoffs, online sports betting sites in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and other states where wagering is legal are going to be pretty busy.
There are plenty of markets available and options to choose from, and we’ll get into some of those as we preview our TOUR Championship betting picks.
2020 TOUR Championship Betting Tips – Golf Betting Strategy
The FedEx Cup Playof schedule commenced two weeks ago at The Northern Trust with the top 125 players in the standings. That field was cut to 70 in time for the BMW Championship, and now we have the top 30 in the standings going at it in the season finale.
East Lake measures just under 7,400 yards and registers as a Par 70 for the TOUR Championship. It’s not an overly difficult course but one where accuracy matters, as does putting. Here are some East Lake key stats to consider when making 2020 TOUR Championship Picks:
- Strokes Gained: Tee-To-Green
- SG: Approach The Green
- Birdie Or Better Percentage
- Ball Striking
- SG: Putting

I went to Australia to get an education in foreign relations and I did. But it wasn’t at the schoolhouse… it was at the race track.
Horse racing is very popular in “The Land Down Under” and most every small Aussie town has their very own race track and our town was no exception. One weekend I made the very large mistake of attending the Armidale Jockey Club for a day at the races. Now, you must understand that Aussie horse racing is a little different than what you might be used to.
Not only do the horses run around the track in the opposite direction but the betting seems to be a little backwards also. As far as I could tell, all that was needed to be a bookie was a signboard to post your odds and a box to stand on. They odds on each horse were usually different with each bookie. If things were getting slow the traveling bookies would just change their odds.
The race horses belong to the local grazers or sheepherders. They are often ridden by a son or a daughter and in one race an eight year old stud might be racing against a four year old mare. As if that wasn’t incentive enough for the horses, the purse was often as high as $100. But despite these unbelievable payouts there were times when none of the horses would show up for
