Nothing brings out the adrenaline quite like a heads-up game in the No Limit Texas Hold’em world. We previously discussed the top-20 starting hole cards, button strategy and how to count outs. Heads-up play asks a poker player to combine all the tools in an aggressive format.

Below we’ll look at all aspects of how to play heads up, from button management to the correct size of a bet. While its suggested to play conservative early or in a deep stack tournament, the exact opposite is true in heads-up play.

Stay Aggressive

One of the biggest changes in a heads-up situation is the aggressive play of your hole cards.

One hand a player should never consider betting pre-flop at the beginning stages of a poker tournament is J♦️3♣️. It is estimated to lose more than 50% of the time to any other hand without even knowing your opponents hole cards.

When heads-up against an opponent, a poker player must rewire the ideology on what

1 – Know the Numbers and Pick the Best Betting Options

I’m a mathematician, with a BS degree in mathematics, so numbers are something that I’m comfortable with. This is why I enjoy gambling so much. I can use math to help me when I gamble.

Not everyone is comfortable with math. In fact, many people hate it or are scared of it. But you have to learn some basic mathematical facts about gambling if you want to become a better gambler.

The good news is that you don’t have to have a degree in math or be some kind of genius. You just need to learn where to find the numbers you need and understand what they mean and how to use them.

The big thing that you need to learn about is the

2020 Travelers Championship Preview and Betting Strategies – The Sports Gambling Podcast

2020 Travelers Championship Preview and Betting Strategies

After a birdie bonanza down in Hilton Head, the PGA Tour heads north for the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT.

Here’s everything to know about the tournament before placing a single wager.

The Field

Despite its customary place on the schedule as the first tournament after the U.S. Open, the Travelers Championship had turned into one of the more popular events for top professionals to play. Between a fun golf course that suits multiple styles of play to an enthusiastic fan base, the strength of the field at the Travelers has improved in recent years.

The strength of this year’s field is only bolstered with forcing top golfers to play as much as possible to try and secure enough FedEx points in this jam packed modified schedule. Headlining the field are Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Bryson DeChambeau and last week’s winner Webb Simpson.

In addition, two top players who make their post-COVID break debut on the PGA Tour are Paul Casey and Patrick Cantlay. TPC River Highlands is one of Paul Casey’s best golf courses, as he has four Top 5 finishes in five career appearances at the tournament. As for Patrick Cantlay, he’s

The worst mistake you can make as a gambler is beginning betting without the necessary information and strategies on the sport. Here, we’ll take a look at some strategies that should boost your soccer betting experience. Check them out;

Betting on corners

If you want to remain successful in soccer betting, you have to be open-minded. Online betting sites have a wide variety of markets, so you don’t have to bet on one bet type. Betting on corners is among the latest types of soccer gambling. It might seem odd, but if you research adequately, some profits can be made from this option. You can keep track of the number of corners a particular team win on average in every game and use it when determining what your next bet will be. If you are not sure where to start, check things like the team’s attacking statistics, defensive tactics, clearing their lines, the pitch size, and the weather. Such factors can often make all the difference. Taking the right approach backed up with data can result in decent profits.

Betting on the double chance

The double chance is an excellent betting strategy to use if you are one of the risk-averse bettors. With the double chance, you increase the probability of winning since you bet keeping

Zerillo’s Belmont Stakes Day Betting Guide: Picks and Exotics for Every Race at Big Sandy (June 20) – The Action Network

Handicapping Saturday’s 12-race card for Belmont Stakes Day, in Elmont, New York, is about as bittersweet of a sports moment as I have had personally since going into lockdown back in mid-March.

Belmont Stakes Day is one of my favorite traditions — and Belmont Park is a place where I have been fortunate enough to witness history, twice, as American Pharoah (2015) and Justify (2018) completed their runs for the Triple Crown. The sound of the grandstand as American Pharoah pulled away down the stretch will stay with me forever.

The 2020 Belmont Stakes Day card isn’t as dense as it has been in previous years, in what has amounted to a mid-season Breeder’s Cup equivalent.

Last year, NYRA featured nine graded stakes races, including eight Grade 1 affairs, whereas the 2020 edition only features six graded stakes races, including four Grade 1 events.

My single favorite stakes race, the Grade 1 Metropolitan Mile, was moved to the July 4 Belmont card, along with the Manhattan Stakes (G-1), which typically precedes the Belmont Stakes.

Saturday’s racing at Belmont Park goes to post at 11:45 a.m. ET – which starts the early $0.50 Pick 5.

Here are the other vital multi-race sequences on the card:

  • Race 2, 12:25 p.m ET ($0.50 Pick 4)
  • Race 5, 2:19 p.m. ET ($0.20 Empire Pick 6)
  • Race 6, 3:01 p.m. ET (Mandatory Payout Pick 5)
  • Race 7, 3:39 p.m. ET ($0.50 Pick 4)
  • Race 8, 4:15 p.m. ET ($0.50 Late Pick 5)
  • Race 9, 4:53 p.m. ET ($0.50 Late Pick 4)

As a result, I will

Horse racing betting strategy: keys to being successful long term – Augusta Free Press

horse racing

(© Daren Whitaker –

Horse racing is far from your regular sport, and so is betting on it. While sports like football, tennis, and even soccer requires that you focus on the athletes only, horse racing requires that you focus not only on the athletes (the jockey) but the horses, too.

This explains why we don’t see as many bettors staking on horse racing as we do in other sports betting like football. Simply put, betting on horses is a tough ask of anyone.

How then can one devise a long term winning strategy? You may wonder!

Well, for all its

Baseball Betting Tactics – 7 Strategies for Betting on Baseball –

Baseball Placed on Top of Hundred Dollar Bills

Betting on baseball is no different than betting on football or basketball or any other sport. You look for lines that offer value based on your handicapping skills.

Over the entire history of baseball and betting on baseball, the starting pitcher for both teams has been the most important factor for handicapping.

Smart baseball bettors also consider how each team performs at home and on the road and look for players on a hot streak.

You should be using all of these things to handicap baseball already.

But if you want to be the best baseball bettor you can be, you need to dig deeper and use more information than average baseball bettors.

This is why I built the list of baseball betting tactics below. These seven things are often ignored by average baseball bettors.

Add these things to your current handicapping model and continue looking for additional things that most baseball bettors ignore.

1 – Bullpen Strength

More baseball bettors are using the strength of each team’s bullpen in their handicapping, but it’s still not used enough. The average number of innings pitched by the starting pitchers has been declining for decades, and it’s reached the point where I use the bullpen strength just as much as the starting pitchers in my handicapping.

The first time through the lineup, the starting pitcher has the best results on average. The second time through

Saturday, June 20, Belmont Park, Race 7, post time 3:39 p.m. ET

#10 Light in the Sky: The temptation was there to only cover the major stakes races on the Saturday card at Belmont but this six-furlong turf sprint for New York-bred fillies and mares was just too intriguing. It’ll be interesting to see how the pace unfolds but, at a minimum, we know that #5 Winifred J and #4 Strongerthanuknow will be sent. Assuming they both break cleanly, that should ensure an honest enough pace. Still, I wouldn’t want a horse who’s too far back in a race like this, so I landed on #10 Light in the

Sports Betting Done Right! Simple Strategies For Success – Along the Boards

Unlike many other games of chance, sports betting is predictable only to a certain degree. Over a lot of time, athletes, fans, and enthusiasts have gained experience as to who can prevail in a competition, at what time, and against which opponent. Many also like to bet on sports simply because they all admire the athletic performances.

However, placing money on teams is not only about the enjoyment of the sport being played, but, it is also about a working system and a sober assessment of the team’s or individual’s performance. By having the right strategy implemented, as well as patience and discipline, you might actually turn this hobby into a profit.

Nevertheless, sports gambling will always remain a game of chance, where the results depend on the imponderables. Therefore, nobody should be tempted to bet amounts that exceed the budget, even if the results seem entirely certain and reliable. If you are thinking about wagering on sports, here are some tips that you might want to remember:

1. You’ll Need to Start With a Realistic Budget

Generally, when you start betting, you should set yourself a very strict budget. Do not make the beginner’s mistake and wager more money than you can actually afford. The budget you choose must be based on a small part of your monthly disposable income. This means that you should only spend a part
