NBA Best Bets: Basketball Predictions to Consider on DraftKings Sportsbook for September 17 – DraftKings Nation

Just a one-game card in the NBA on Thursday, as the Celtics and Heat meet for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Here’s what jumps out to me on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics

BOS ML (-141)

The Celtics have been a solid bounce-back team in the playoffs, going 2-1 SU and ATS off of losses (all in the Toronto series). Miami is a super tough team, and they have not stumbled coming off big wins. The Heat are 9-1 ATS in the postseason, so they’ve been a very tough fade. But Boston should be the more desperate team in this one, making the necessary adjustments defensively, and focusing on maintaining offensive efficiency down the stretch. Every game of this series should be a grind, but I lean C’s in this one.

Marcus Smart 3-pointers: OVER 2.5 (+110)

Smart’s been absolutely launching since the start of the Toronto series, hitting five-plus 3-pointers four times in his last eight games. He’s been pulling from deep even more frequently in his last three games, going 6-of-11 in Game 6 vs. TOR, 2-of-10 in Game 7 and 6-for-13 from deep in the series opener against Miami. Given the volume we’ve seen here recently, I’ll take plus-money on the over.

Jae Crowder 3-pointers: OVER 2.5 (-152)

It may be Blaney’s time at Bristol – GamingTodaySlotsToday

There’s a lot of relevant data to review before making your NASCAR wagers this week for Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops NRA 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway’s half-mile, high banked, concrete bullring.

The first thing we have to understand is that this the 29th race of the season and the third and final race in the Round of 16. Four of the 16 Playoff drivers will be chopped from championship contention after the race, giving us 12 remaining drivers when the Round of 12 begins next in the South Point 400 at Las Vegas. There will be a few guys driving as if it were the last race of their career and would wreck their mothers for a win.

I find Ryan Blaney the most interesting candidate to win this week because he’s sitting last in points, 25 behind Clint Bowyer in the 12th and final transfer position. He could make it on points with lots of help but I’m sure he’ll be going all out to get the win. I asked Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook manager Ed Salmons if he’d be posting Blaney at 20-1 odds to win after being 25-1 last week at Darlington and he said no because Blaney runs well at Bristol.

Yes, Blaney runs extremely well at Bristol even though he has just one top-five in 10 Cup starts there. In his five starts while driving for Team Penske he’s led 449 laps and that’s not including the All-Star race at Bristol in July when

Tips to win at roulette – Business MattersBusiness Matters

Roulette is an easy casino game to learn. Nevertheless, it still is a sophisticated game to play and users will benefit immensely by knowing a few roulette tips and tricks.

Here we take a look at a few of them so users can learn how to win at it easily.

Basics of the game

For the uninitiated, the game of roulette consists of a wheel with 37 numbered frets (38 for the American variation). 18 of them are colored red, 18 of them black, with one green ‘0’. A ball is introduced while the wheel is in spin and players are required to predict where it will land.

Players play against the house and bet their chips on their predicted number, color, or section of the wheel with fixed odds of the result. It is important to note that even if you manage to become a roulette wizard, the house is going to win most of the time.

Strategies to use in Roulette

There are a few rules that players should follow, such as not betting more than they can afford to lose. Furthermore, players should not expect to win every time as this is close to impossible. Australian players who are unsure where to play roulette would do

U.S. Open Preview 2020 and Betting Strategies – The Sports Gambling Podcast

2020 U.S. Open Preview and Betting Strategies

In the midst of the beginning of the NFL season, fans and bettors will have to make room for one of the most anticipated golf tournaments of the year. At long last, the best players in the world will face the toughest test in golf for the 120th U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY. Here’s our U.S. Open Preview  with everything to know before placing a single wager on it.

U.S. Open Preview: The Field

Because of the COVID pandemic, the traditional play-in format to set the U.S. Open field had to be scrapped. Local and Sectional Qualifying, both here and abroad, were replaced with primarily automatic qualifying based on several metrics.

Some of the most notable changes to how this year’s field was set is as follows:

+ Reduction of the field from 156 to 144 players

+ Top two non-exempt players from the results of the Memorial, 3M Open, WGC-FedEx St. Jude, Barracuda Championship, and the Wyndham Championship

+ Top three non-exempt players from the results of the PGA Championship

+ Top 5 non-exempt players from final 2019-2020 FedEx Cup Standings

+ Top 10 aggregate point earners from the European Tour’s revised 2020 schedule, beginning from the British Masters

NFL Week 1 Picks: A Winning Betting System Backing Last Season’s Worst Teams – The Action Network

Many bettors use the terms “betting against the public” and “contrarian betting” interchangeably; however, the former is really a subset of the latter.

The main idea behind contrarian betting is finding value by being willing to bet on undervalued teams as oddsmakers will often shade lines toward the popular or better straight-up team in a given matchup.

One of the most common mistakes made by recreational bettors is by overemphasizing the most recent results. It’s easy to see a blowout in primetime and let that affect wagering decisions for the upcoming week of NFL games, but that’s exactly what oddsmakers are expecting as well.

And when it comes to early-season NFL games, bettors overwhelmingly lean on the previous season’s results, despite an entire offseason that includes the NFL Draft, roster turnover, coaching/system changes, etc.

Savvy bettors willing to stomach backing last year’s worst teams can find edges through the first few weeks of a new NFL season, and historical data shows just how valuable this strategy can be.

NFL Week 1 Betting System

Since 2005, teams that won six or fewer games the previous year are 152-140-8 (52.1%) against the spread (ATS) through the first three weeks of an NFL season.

Due to the customary -110 vig that sportsbooks charge in order to wager on spreads, bettors need to win 52.38% ATS in order break even, so blindly betting all teams that won just six or fewer games last season is not

NFL Bankroll Challenge Predictions: Football Bets to Consider on DraftKings Sportsbook for Week 1 – DraftKings Nation

We’re trying something a bit new this year, as I’ll be taking a season-long ride we’re calling “The Bankroll Challenge.”

Basically, I’ll start with 50 units to wager on DraftKings Sportsbook for this NFL season and try to build that bankroll as large as possible. In order to do that, I’ll save the majority of my bankroll to use week-to-week, but betting futures has been profitable for me in recent seasons, so I’ll want to sprinkle some of that in, as well.

This article is going to be where my most confident plays go, so while a best bets article may highlight the top five bets to consider one week, this is the place I’ll be posting selective bets that I’m most confident in, along with a unit amount.

This article will also be a running blog, so look for more plays to be dropped in throughout the week with fresh updates. For now, I just have one play I’m loving for the TNF opener between the Texans and Chiefs.

You can find my NFL Futures bets for the Bankroll Challenge here.
